Google will announce the 8th version of android on the same moment as the sun eclipse. This will be on Monday 2:40 local time or 6:40 Greenwich  meantime. The coupling from this event to the launch is the reason for the O and for the name of the site eclipse. On this site you can follow both livestreams.

The most important preview of the developers version are the limits on the background running of apps. This should improve your battery-life. There is also project treble, where google wants to uncouple  the android OS Framework’ to the ‘vendor implementation’, so it can update faster.

For the name we can guess what candy they will take, but Oreo is already mentioned in one of their videos. But we will see.

If you are going to join to watch the stream, you can comment it here below.

About the Author

As a student electronical engineering ICT my interest in technology is huge. As a person I’m willing to learn every day to improve myself and focus on the things I love doing. That's the force that drives me to accept new challenges. Technology is a hobby and the fact that I can write and share my opinion about all the new evolutions is a wonderful gift. I’m always open for critical feedback to improve and push myself to the top. If you want to do something really badly, you should just go out there and do it. That's what I try to do every day and I’m grateful that I can be part of this team. I hope that one day we as a team can make BlackholeTec a big name in the world of technologies.
