Full flexible Doogee screen coming in the near future

Submitted by Joly Joren on Thu, 11/16/2017 - 15:24

Next year Doogee will launch a full-flexible smartphone screen. Evan Blass, aka @evleaks tweeted 2 pictures with the bended screens on.

On the pictures you can see the flexible screen. But evleaks is saying that it should be a device with 6GB ram and 128 GB memory. The screen is 18,5:9. These are the same specifications, the Samsung S8 screens have. Other specifications are still unknown but we can not wait on the rest of the specs.

Altough this looks amazing. Bended screens are on the markte for a while. Previous models that use, a bended screen are LG Gflex smarthpone and the Samsung Galaxy round.

Why bendable screens. First of all they have a lighter weigt. This is because plastics ways less then glass and bendable screens are made out of plastic. They should have a better durability. If you drop it there is less chance your screen is broken and last they are thinner.

Make sure you understand that a bended screen is not the same as a bendable smartphone. Those two are still very different. But there is the possibility to make a bendable phone with a bendable screen.

We are looking forward to this, hopefully you too!

Stay tuned!
