With the upcoming Apple keynote in September (date to be announced) new rumours arise about the new 2018 iPhone models. Earlier leaks confirmed that 3 new models will be released.
The first is said to be a second-generation version of the iPhone X, with the same 5.8-inch OLED display. While the second can be thought of as an "iPhone X Plus" with a larger 6.5-inch OLED display. These 2 models will probably in the same price range as the iPhone X.
Also a more affordable 6.1-inch iPhone with an LCD display will be announced, which can be very interesting for more budget oriented consumers.
A recent report with Apples intends has leaked and it states 2 main improvements on the models. The performance of the devices will get a decent upgrade. A new chipset is announced by TSMC and will be the successor of the A11 chipset. Users can expect around 20 percent more performance and up to 40 percent more energy efficiency.
The second upgrade is focussed on the camera and will be accounted for all three models. So nothing astonishing is to be expected in the September keynote, Apple continues their marketing strategy for the iPhone by improving camera and performance.
