The Austria company continuing it's recent focus on premium grade cooling cooling components for the growing demand of compact systems such as ITX and HTPC based systems. The inmagend systems doesn't provided much space for most common CPU coolers on the market today and that's one of the reasons Noctua launches the NH-L9x65 low-profile CPU cooler. The NH-L9x65 offers a compact heatsink with four nickel-plated heatpipes design. To obtain some decent cooling Noctua fit a 14mm thin NF-A9x14 PWM fan op the top of the CPU cooler and has thereby a total height of 65mm. The footprint retains at 95x95mm which quarantees enough clearance to install any RAM and PCIe cards on Intel based ITX mainboards. The PWM fan spins at 600 RPM up to 2500 RPM with 23.6 dBA and can be limited by a low-noise adapter to 1800 RPM and 14.8 dBA. The airflow is on full speed 33.8 CFM and with the low-noise adapter a decent 24.0 CFM.
The NH-L9x65 is compatible with Intel sockets 1150,1155,1156, 2011-0 and 2011-3, AMD AM2, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2 and FM2+. The new CPU cooler will be availible shortly by the retailers with a price of 44.90 EUR.
