Players will continue their journey in the Star Trek universe with Star Trek: Bridge Crew – The New Generation on board of the Galaxy Class spaceship: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701D. The iconic bridge let players continue to  test their fighting abilities against the stealthy Romulan-fleet and the dangerous Borg in the Ongoing Voyages-mode.

Star Trek: The Bridge Crew – The Next General from Ubisoft will be released at 22th of May for PlayStation VR/4 and at 21th of July for PC and VR gamers. This means that you can play with or without VR and you will be able to play cross-platform.  This DLC cost 14.99 euros/dollars and the main game itself, that was released about a year ago, costs 49.99 euros/dollars.

The Next Generation DLC improves the Ongoing Voyages-mode and offers two extra missions types: Patrol and Resistance. Patrol gives player the possibility to roam around in space while random generated missions provide you and your crew hours of fun on board of the de U.S.S. Aegis, de U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 or the Enterprise-D. Resistance gives the player a chance to battle the most fan loved villain: the Borg. Players will have to accomplish a bunch of goals before their final confrontation with the Borg.

Another thing the DLC adds, is a new role called Operation. This role focuses more on Crew Management. As Operations you have to plan in advance that the right NPC’s are assigned in the proper spots on the ship. Assigning the right positions will be crucial for the success of the mission and the safety of the crew.
