Every year, gamers look forward to Steam's seasonal sales, particularly the Summer and Winter/Holiday sales, but there is also the oft-forgotten Halloween sale, which is upon us this very day, and runs until Noverber 1st.
In past years, Halloween was an excuse for Steam to slash (see what we did there?) prices of just creepy games, and usually just a handful at that. This year, however, Steam has dropped the prices on a whopping 156 games, some creepy, some only barely related to something that might have scared a small child once. A hundred and fifty-six. What does that mean? It means that no matter how many games you already have sitting, unplayed, in your Steam library, you'll find at least one game in this sale that is too tempting to pass on. And probably a few that you've forgotten you already own from earlier sales.
Because there are so many games on sale, I'm not going to waste everyone's time by posting every single title, but I will offer a handful of recommendations in case you need some help getting started:
- Amnesia: The Dark Descent - 75% off
- The Walking Dead - 75% off
- LIMBO - 75% off
- The Typing of the Dead: Overkill - 75% off
- Rise of the Triad - 50% off
Check out all the games that are sale here. This Halloween sale also brings great news for Team Fortress 2 fans, with news of another seasonal event, which will undoubtedly mean more hats for everybody!
